Eurofragance obtiene la medalla Platinum de EcoVadis y refuerza su compromiso con la sostenibilidad.

Eurofragance, casa internacional de fragancias, ha sido reconocida por segundo año consecutivo con la medalla Platinum de EcoVadis, la máxima calificación que otorga esta agencia independiente de evaluación de sostenibilidad. Esta distinción, basada en los logros alcanzados durante 2024, sitúa a Eurofragance en el 1% superior de las empresas del sector evaluadas a nivel global.
En 2024, la compañía no solo mantuvo su crecimiento en términos de facturación y plantilla, sino que también incrementó su compromiso con iniciativas sociales y medioambientales. A pesar de un contexto exigente, Eurofragance mejoró su puntuación general en la evaluación de EcoVadis, alcanzando 82 sobre 100, frente al 80 obtenido en 2023.
En el último ejercicio, Eurofragance alcanzó una facturación de 180 millones de euros y superó los 500 empleados en todo el mundo. Paralelamente, desarrolló nuevas acciones vinculadas a su hoja de ruta sostenible, reforzando las cuatro áreas clave que EcoVadis evalúa: medio ambiente, prácticas laborales y derechos humanos, ética y compras sostenibles.
Dentro del ámbito medioambiental, la empresa obtuvo una puntuación destacada de 85 sobre 100 gracias a sus esfuerzos constantes en la reducción de emisiones de carbono, que se han reducido en un 7% desde 2021, año base de referencia. Además, durante 2024, Eurofragance también logró —respecto al año anterior— una disminución del 7% en el consumo de agua y del 5% en residuos enviados a vertedero. Estas cifras reflejan el compromiso de la empresa con una gestión más eficiente y respetuosa de los recursos.
En materia ética, Eurofragance continuó desarrollando sus programas internos de formación en todas sus filiales, entre los que destacan: “Formación sobre el Código Ético”, “Política antifraude” y “Canal de denuncias”.
Asimismo, invirtió de forma significativa en la capacitación de sus equipos, acumulando un total de 11.000 horas de formación y desarrollo profesional durante el año.
Como parte de su estrategia en materia de sostenibilidad, Eurofragance ha publicado hoy su Memoria de Sostenibilidad 2024, donde destaca avances clave en materia de seguridad, comunidad, ética empresarial y gestión de recursos. Entre los hitos principales, la compañía alcanzó la neutralidad de carbono en sus plantas de producción —hito que alcanzó por primera vez en 2023—, redujo el consumo de agua y residuos, y reforzó su compromiso con la igualdad, la diversidad y el bienestar de sus empleados.
